The Imperial
Institute of Higher Education. (IIHE), another leader and pioneer in the
tertiary education industry in Sri Lanka was established in 1996, the IIHE has
an unblemished and well respected name in the tertiary education industry in
Sri Lanka for offering high quality Undergraduate and Post Graduate Degree
programs in association with the University of Wales since 1996. IIHE in
partnership with The University of Salford, will now offer the following
programs, with effect from March’2015.BSc (Hons)
Accounting and Finance,
BSc (Hons) Business and Management, BSc (Hons)
Business Information Technology and BSc (Hons) Business and Tourism Management. The degree courses that will be provided by the IIHE from the
University of Salford are their internal degrees. This is an opportunity for
Sri Lankans to acquire world class degrees from the prestigious Salford
University, Business School of 2014.
The “Official Launch” was graced by The Deputy
Minister Mr Evan Wickramaratne who was the Cheif guest along with the Deputy
British High Commissioner in Sri Lanka her Excellency Ms. Laura Davis who was
the guest of honour, Prof Paul Rowlette representing the Vice Chancellor of The
University of Salford Prof. Helen Marshell, Prof. P.S.M Dunaratne Deputy
Chairman of the University Grants Commission was also a special invitee along
with the Directors and the Senior officials of IIHE. All of whom can be seen in
the picture a below, seated at the Head Table.
